Kirsty’s Story
Written by Brian TobinKirsty’s Story
“It is an excellent piece of filming, strong, powerful, emotive and such a clear simple message for what is such a complex process. It is very moving and a wonderful showpiece to be able to illustrate the difference that Iceni make. It will hopefully impress the need to invest in such families as Kristy’s.” We hope it will raise awareness about the issues parents face when they get overwhelmed and the desperate need to start putting appropriate resources into troubled families before they become a ‘problem’.

Charity of the Year
If your company has a Charity of the Year, please consider nominating us.
Nominating Iceni as your Charity of the Year is a great way for your whole company to come together and work towards raising money for an organisation that works with families in overcoming addiction in the heart of our communities. Iceni are committed to keeping families together and, with your support, we trust that you will share our vision to realise a better future for children in these families – whose life chances can be adversely affected by problems their family experiences, such as addiction, poverty, worklessness, poor health and housing.
We have an experienced, committed team that will support you at every step to make the most of the partnership.
Thanks to St Mary’s and at Holy Family Church at Kesgrave!
Glenn Robinson from Iceni spoke at the 9.00am Mass at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Woodbridge Road on Sunday 25 March 2012 at the invitation of Fr John Warrington. Retiring collections were held after all the Masses over the weekend, both at St Mary’s and at Holy Family Church at Kesgrave. £760.51 was raised for Iceni. Thanks to Ashton KCJ!

Ten volunteers from Ashton KCJ (and one dad!) spent 7 hours on a changing room style challenge at Iceni. Giving up their Saturday, the team split in 2 to compete against one another to brighten up 2 family counselling rooms. Inga Lockington (centre), a trustee at Iceni, was on hand to ‘judge’ the best room.
